The small-supplier threshold
Under $30,000 in revenue over four consecutive quarters, you generally do not have to register for GST/HST. [TAG]staq tracks your invoiced total so crossing it is not a surprise.
Separate lines, not one blur
In BC, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, PST and RST are shown as their own lines beside GST — the way the invoice needs to read, not merged into a single combined figure.
Quebec is its own case
QST is calculated on the pre-GST amount, as Revenu Québec requires, rather than stacked on the GST-inclusive total.
